Kuwait Govt give KD 200 as Ramadan gift
Kuwait: The government intends to grant KD 200 to each citizen as Ramadan gift and it will be announced before the start of the holy month, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily quoting sources. In another development, sources disclosed the public sector workers not included in the KD 100 salary increment approved by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will receive their pay raise in July, retroactively from April. Sources added the Parliament is also contemplating on the possibility of increasing the pension of retirees. Sources explained most lawmakers believe the retirees are one of the most neglected groups in the Kuwaiti society; hence, the need to help them overcome their difficulties and improve their financial conditions.
