KUWAIT: The execution of the development projects being carried out as part of the government's major development plan will go ahead as planned despite the development minister's recent resignation, according to a senior government official. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official, a member of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development's (SCPD) Secretariat General, lauded the previous development minister, saying that the recently resigned minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, who was also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, had conscientiously monitored the implementation of the development plan and issued a number of executive directives concerned with it.
