KUWAIT: MPs Walid Al-Tabtabaei and Musallam Al-Barrak announced yesterday that this Friday would be designated as 'Petition Friday,' when MPs will sign a controversial petition created by different political blocs in Kuwait, to be submitted to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The petition states that the resignation of the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and the Minister of Housing and Development Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah are the first and most important steps to take in order to improve the current tense political situation. The current unstable situation is something that can only be blamed on the Prime Minister. His negligence continues to lead the country downwards, and we hope that this Friday's protest will lead to the end of his reign," said Al-Tabtabaei of the petition.
