KUWAIT: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah will face the grilling motion filed by MPs Mohammad Hayef, Dr. Waleed Al-Tabtabaie and Mubarak Al-Waalan during a private session next Tuesday, according to parliamentary insiders. In the meantime, other sources indicate that the parliament's legislative committee is set to meet today (Thursday) with Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah and will continue working over the weekend on its report regarding the constitutionality of his grilling so that the issue can also be debated next Tuesday.HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah reportedly met with MPs Saleh Ashour, Dr. Yousef Al-Zalzalah, Faisal Al-Duwaisan and Adnan Al-Mutawa last Monday, discussing a number of topics, including Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad's request for verification of the constitutionality of the grilling motion brought against him. According to a political insider, the premier told the lawmakers that Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad's only current choice is to face the grilling head-on and refute the allegations against him.
