There was no harm to Kuwaiti nationals or business interests in India’s financial capital Mumbai in Wednesday’s triple bomb blasts which claimed as many as 17 lives and injured around 130 people, confirmed the Consul General for the State of Kuwait in Mumbai, Salem Al-Khaledi on Thursday. In a written statement he said: “There is no Kuwaiti citizen — resident or tourist — who has come to any harm from this painful event.” He further emphasized that there was no harm to any Kuwaiti interests, including the Consulate for the State of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti Airways Office or the Kuwaiti Petroleum Office for marketing oil in India.
