Still no MoE bill payment facility at Kuwait Airport
Kuwait: Every holidaymaker is now keen to pay their bills prior to setting out for the airport, with campaigns, warnings and SMSes targeting those residents who have incurred large utilities bills. Travelers who opt to settle their bills at the airport at the last minute have discovered, however, that the payment facility that was to open there is still "in the pipeline. Some months ago the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) announced that it would be installing facilities allowing passengers to pay outstanding bills for water and electricity at the airport, with any unsettled bills potentially creating problems for expatriate travelers leaving the country on holiday.
