Kuwait cautions against fictitious summer sales in shops
Kuwait: Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Thursday urged consumers not to be deceived by fake shop discounts, as a total of 186 fraud cases have been reported during this summer season. The ministry regretted in a release that some shops, malls and trade centers usually make untrue sales in a bid to seduce consumers, warning that its inspectors are vigilant against such attempts. The ministry said it was seeking to protect consumers so that they would not be easy preys to violators, vowing that it would apply trade fraud law to breakers.
