India whitewash New Zealand with eight-wicket win
Chennai, Dec 10 : India defeated New Zealand by eight wickets in the fifth and final ODI to register a 5-0 series win here Friday. India chased down the target of 104 runs with 173 balls to spare. Parthiv Patel notched up 56 runs to register his second fifty in as many games while Yuvraj scored an unbeaten 42. Nathan McCullum and Captain Daniel Vettori took a wicket each for New Zealand.
